Set in beautiful surroundings, I stayed for a conference and the staff were brilliant from when we walked in, very informative and polite. The room I had was beautiful, cleaned to a high standard, price for drinks and food for a place like this, I would say is average. We didn’t use the spa but it did look nice. Will definitely be taking the trip up the M1 again to stay here.

I got a one night stay for my boyfriend’s 21st birthday and it was lovely! The hotel had a very calm atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious, even though I booked a room which wasn’t listed as ‘having a view’ it backed onto a small green area out the back which was nice. The grounds are gorgeous and the view from the front of the hotel is lovely (especially at sunset). The spa was very quiet and clean. The steam room and hot tub were lovely a hot. The indoor pool as a little chilly but once you get swimming it’s okay. The breakfast and it was lovely and had a variety of cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. The hot options all looked yummy but the Egg Royal was very good. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet stay away with nice views.

I recently attended a conference at the venue. The organisation was first class and lunch was very good. However I can’t praise them enough for their superb customer service. On arriving home ( 117 miles away) I realised I’d left my kindle scribe pen ( £70 to replace) in the conference room. I called them and they offered to post it to me at no cost. 3 days later the pen arrived in the post. Customer care over and above. I didn’t get the member of staffs name but thank you.

We stayed at this hotel over Valentine’s Day and had a really great time ❤️ The restaurant was definitely a standout… the tasting menu was fantastic and really good value for money 🍽️ The waiters were professional, welcoming and very knowledgeble which made the whole evening feel extra special. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere throughout our stay and our room was clean and comfortable 🛏️ All in all, a brilliant stay and we’d happily return!
