We stayed at this hotel & spa recently and overall it was a really memorable experience. The building itself is beautiful, very classic British architecture, lots of old character, and you can really feel the history in the place. The outside area was especially lovely, with a small lake and flowers around it, including water lilies which made it feel very peaceful and scenic. The pool facilities were excellent. Clean, relaxing, and well maintained, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good, with a nice atmosphere to match. That said, the hotel is quite old, and you do notice it in places. Our room, for example, felt very dated, and there was a slight “old building” smell at times. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely something you notice. Still, the charm of the building and surroundings kind of makes up for those imperfections. It has a unique character you don’t really get in modern hotels. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with beautiful surroundings. Not perfect, but definitely worth visiting if you appreciate historic buildings and a more traditional hotel experience.

I stayed in this lovely hotel on one of the hottest days of the year. However, the room was so cool at night and there was a fan to use also. The ice lolly’s on arrival were such a lovely touch! The room was lovely and I had a great night sleep. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast was great, got to sit outside on a beautiful warm morning with the view and a full English. I visited due to a business trip but I’ll definitely return for a personal trip to this hotel to use the spa! Only thing I would say is that the car park was really hard to walk across with my suitcase, but luckily I was wearing flat shoes - but this doesn’t take away how beautiful the hotel and stay was. Thanks ☺️

We recently stayed at New Hall Hotel & Spa in Birmingham and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, full of character and surrounded by stunning grounds, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The spa facilities were excellent, and all the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to the hotel team for the lovely surprise they arranged for my boyfriend's birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration even more memorable. The attention to detail and personal touch were truly appreciated. We had a fantastic stay and created some wonderful memories. We would highly recommend New Hall Hotel & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a special occasion celebration. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful historic hidden gem in one of the most beautiful fairytale locations. Our room was wonderful, the hotel was very peaceful and the scenery is amazing. Breakfast was excellent and a non buffet style (which if we are honest, we all prefer 😉) Ev charging on site for a fee (around 32p per kw from memory) safe, secure parking which was plentiful. When visiting Birmingham we will definitely return.
