About this experience
Empower your team and illuminate lives with this impactful charity team building experience, focusing on global energy poverty. Your group will collaborate to assemble "StudentBuddy" devices – innovative, solar-powered lights equipped with USB charging. The journey begins with an insightful presentation, shedding light on the critical issue of energy poverty and its worldwide implications. Working in teams of four, participants will meticulously construct these sustainable solutions under the guidance of experienced facilitators. Following quality checks, these vital devices, accompanied by heartfelt letters of encouragement from your team, are distributed through trusted NGO partners to children in communities facing energy poverty across Cambodia, Kenya, and Madagascar. This engaging team volunteering opportunity is perfectly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, making it ideal for organizations committed to corporate social responsibility and tangible social impact. Beyond a powerful team-building exercise, this program offers a unique chance for teams to learn about significant global challenges and actively contribute to real-world solutions.
