About this experience
Tackle England's literacy challenge head-on with this impactful charity team building experience. Designed for organizations committed to corporate social responsibility, this activity sees teams of five constructing their very own Little Free Libraries in just 1.5 to 2 hours. Participants will gain insight into how functional illiteracy affects 7.1 million adults and discover how these team volunteering efforts provide tangible solutions. No carpentry skills are needed; all tools, materials, and expert guidance are provided to ensure a smooth build. Once completed, these handmade book-sharing boxes are placed directly into local communities, offering lasting access to books and nurturing a love for reading across all ages. Join the movement that facilitates millions of book exchanges annually and helps create friendlier, more literate neighborhoods through accessible literature.
