Beautiful room , I think it would be nice to soften fire place area with something like a china jug & bowl instead of fire place logs in the bathroom. I would definitely stay again & revisit the history at the Abbey it is absolutely beautiful. Room very clean very comfortable pillows. I love the lights in the wardrobe very helpful. Great fridge & drinks in the room too. Lovely body lotion & other wash stuff too. Very welcoming staff . Thank you for all your hard work for making our stay lovely. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel is set in a stunning historic building that's full of character and fascinating to explore. Meg and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured our stay was comfortable from start to finish. From the breathtaking abbey with the stain glass window and beautiful details in the architecture to the grand Manor House where me and my five bridesmaids stayed the night before and where my family arrived to help me prepare to walk down the isle. The day wouldn’t have been what it was without Liza our wedding coordinator who handled every last detail and kept in contact with us throughout the whole planning journey. I cannot express to you how calm and relieved I was after meeting with her and I thanked her so much because she had gone over everything I was worrying about and made the process so seamless (during a difficult time in her life I wanted to add how resilient, loving and dedicated to her role her strength amazes me). Secondly Clyde who was there with us through every step on the big day. He organised everything from the time we wanted deserts to hand placing every piece of decoration I had brought. He was so amazing and so calm even when we ran behind time I went to him and he has such a calming energy and told me there was nothing to worry about we never felt rushed he keeps everything so organised on the day and I am so so grateful for both of them. Finally Sophie who served us and took over from Clyde later on in the evening she was so professional and passionate about her role I am so amazed by the quality of staff who all truly match your joy and energy on the biggest day of your life. From a photography point of view, the place is incredible - there are so many beautiful spots around the grounds and inside the building that give couples endless opportunities for stunning photos. Whether it’s the architecture, the gardens, or the atmosphere of the venue itself, it’s a dream location for weddings. The team at Stanbrook Abbey have always been fantastic to work with as well. They’re incredibly friendly, professional, and really on top of timings, which makes the day run so smoothly for everyone involved.
